VPCA "CASE OF THE YEAR" AWARDS
ARCHIVED ENTRIES

The VPCA "Case Of The Year" signify outstanding cases in which VPCA K9 Teams successfully performed their duties, and acknowledges the outstanding work that each Team performs in the field. Many cases are submitted by K9 Supervisors for member agencies, and symbolize the standard of excellence that our K9 Teams represent to the public they protect.
The awards are presented at the Annual Meetings held every year. Each year, the Awards are voted on by our members from the cases submitted throughout the year for each training discipline. Entrants in each category are not allowed to vote for that category, but may vote for the other categories in which they have not submitted cases. The Awards are presented by Awards & Certifications Chairman during the Annual Meeting.
Some of the cases have addresses removed to protect identities or for cases that have not been resolved through the court system. All suspects are presumed innocent until convicted in a court of law.
